Dear Altar Servers,
I am deeply grateful for your willingness to serve as altar servers. Your ministry is a vital part of our parish life. It is a great privilege to serve at the altar as our loving Savior, Jesus Christ, becomes truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Eucharist. The Mass celebrated on the altar reflects heavenly worship, and your service mirrors the work of angels who day and night praise and serve God in heaven. What a profound honor!
Many years ago, I too was an altar boy, and my time serving at the altar not only deepened my faith but also prepared me to answer God's call to the priesthood. The altar server ministry offers young people, 4th grade and above, the opportunity to assist the priest with reverence and dignity at Mass.
We hold training sessions periodically for new servers, with the assistance of dedicated adult volunteers and experienced senior altar servers.
If you are interested in becoming an altar server, please have your parents contact the church office or our Altar Server Coordinator, Mrs. Pamela Petit, for more information.
Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all our altar servers and their parents for your ongoing service and dedication!
With blessings,
Fr. Vincent
